BCCI invites bids for title sponsorship rights

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially invited bids for the title sponsorship rights of its cricket events, initiating a fresh tender process for interested brands and organisations.

The cricket board has released the Invitation to Tender (ITT), which outlines the eligibility criteria, bidding process and evaluation framework for prospective applicants. Interested parties can obtain the ITT by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹1 lakh, excluding applicable GST.

As per the timeline announced by the BCCI, the ITT was made available on July 20, 2026. Interested bidders can purchase the tender document until August 4, while the deadline for submitting queries is August 5. Final bids must be submitted by August 13.

The BCCI clarified that purchasing the ITT does not automatically qualify an entity to participate in the bidding process. Only applicants that satisfy the eligibility requirements and comply with the conditions specified in the tender document will be considered.

The board has also stated that it reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the tender process at any stage without providing any reason.

The upcoming title sponsorship opportunity is expected to attract strong interest from leading brands looking to associate with Indian cricket, one of the country’s most valuable and widely followed sporting properties. The sponsorship will offer brands extensive visibility across BCCI events, reinforcing cricket’s continued appeal as a high-impact marketing platform.
