Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has extended its partnership with Cricket Australia, renewing its role as the naming rights partner of the Big Bash League’s Golden Cap awards for another three years.
The renewed agreement will see the collaboration continue through the 2028-29 Big Bash seasons, taking the partnership beyond a decade and making it one of the league’s longest-running commercial associations. BKT has been an Official League Partner since 2018.
The extension reinforces both organisations’ commitment to supporting Australian cricket while enhancing fan engagement across the Big Bash League. Over the years, BKT has built a strong presence in the tournament through initiatives such as the BKT Golden Bat, BKT Golden Arm and BKT Big Bash Tipping, helping deepen fan participation.
Commenting on the renewal, Rajiv Poddar, Joint Managing Director of BKT, said Australia remains a strategic market for the company, adding that cricket offers an ideal platform to connect with millions of passionate fans.
