Nielsen has launched Ad Intel AI, an AI-powered platform that brings together advertising data from multiple sources into a single interface for marketers and media professionals.
The platform is designed to help users analyse competitor activity, ad spend, creative execution and potential market opportunities in real time. It marks the first release in a broader series of AI-led product launches and updates the company plans to roll out over the coming year.
Nielsen chief product officer Akhil Parekh said the AI race hinges on accurate data, an area where the company holds a distinct edge, pointing to decades of research into human behaviour as one of the most extensive studies of its kind. He said combining AI with that depth of data is intended to turn media fragmentation into market certainty, positioning AI as the mechanism through which Nielsen becomes faster, more accurate and more personalised for clients relying on it for media intelligence.
The company said future product updates will aim to connect different stages of the marketing process – from planning through to outcomes – with AI-powered tools built to support decision-making rather than simply generate reports. These additions are expected to roll out progressively over the next year.
The launch positions Nielsen alongside a growing list of measurement and analytics providers racing to embed AI deeper into marketing workflows, as brands increasingly look for tools that move beyond retrospective reporting toward real-time, predictive guidance for media planning and competitive strategy.
