HUL Posts 10% Revenue Growth as Home Care and Beauty Lead the Charge

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) reported a 10% year-on-year rise in turnover to ₹17,184 crore for the quarter ended June 2026 (JQ26), up from ₹15,661 crore a year earlier, driven by broad-based growth across home care, beauty and foods.

Underlying sales growth (USG) came in at 10%, sharply higher than 4% a year ago, while underlying volume growth (UVG) improved to 5% from 3% in JQ25, pointing to stronger demand across the portfolio.

The company said it continued to raise advertising and promotional investments during the quarter to strengthen brand power, alongside efforts to drive P&L savings and expand omnichannel execution. It also flagged continued investment in AI-led operations, including an AI-enabled distribution centre, along with R&D and manufacturing capabilities.

Home Care remained HUL’s largest segment, with revenue rising to ₹6,554 crore from ₹5,857 crore, posting 14% USG on the back of high single-digit volume growth – its strongest performance in three years, led by fabric wash and household care.

Beauty & Wellbeing revenue rose to ₹4,083 crore from ₹3,663 crore, with 12% USG, led by hair care and premium skincare, while Minimalist sustained double-digit growth.

Personal Care revenue grew to ₹2,624 crore, up 4% in USG terms, though volumes dipped slightly amid palm oil-driven pricing. Foods revenue rose 7% to ₹3,480 crore, with coffee and Boost among the standout performers.

CEO Priya Nair said the results reflect a progressive step-up in performance, with HUL expecting FY27 to outperform FY26 despite ongoing commodity and geopolitical risks.
