Sony Entertainment Television has released two new promos for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, with host Amitabh Bachchan carrying this season’s central theme, ‘Sochna Padega,’ beyond the game show format and into relatable, everyday moments. Through witty, slice-of-life scenarios, the promos establish the phrase as a mindset, setting up a season where getting to the right answer will demand more than just recall.
In the first promo, Bachchan walks into a café and asks the waiter whether the Indian or Chinese food is better. Rather than answering directly, the waiter pauses and echoes the season’s tagline back at him – “sochna padega.” Amused, Bachchan plays along and opts for the Indian menu, turning a simple café exchange into a light-hearted nod to the phrase’s growing everyday presence.
The second promo finds Bachchan on his balcony, playfully chatting with his plants and asking if they’ll bloom after all his care. Pre-empting the now-familiar response, he jokes that the phrase seems to have spread everywhere before explaining the season’s core idea: this time, simply remembering an answer won’t be enough – contestants will genuinely need to think before locking one in.
Through these everyday, relatable exchanges, the promos introduce KBC Season 18’s refreshed format, reinforcing that participants will need to pause, analyse and think carefully rather than rely on quick recall alone.
