Himalaya BabyCare’s New Campaign Makes a Case for pH-Matched Skincare

Himalaya BabyCare has launched ‘Matchy Matchy pH’, a campaign built around the importance of maintaining a baby’s natural skin pH balance, spotlighting the brand’s pH 5.5 Gentle Range.

The range includes Gentle Baby Shampoo, Gentle Baby Wash, Gentle Baby Lotion and Gentle Baby Cream. A digital film anchors the campaign, drawing a playful parallel between parents coordinating their baby’s outfits and the need to “match” the skin’s natural pH – positioning the latter as equally deliberate and important for protecting the skin barrier and retaining moisture.

The campaign is rooted in the insight that a baby’s skin is significantly more delicate than an adult’s, and it’s designed to build awareness around pH-balanced skincare as a everyday parenting consideration rather than a niche concern. It’s rolling out across digital and social media platforms.

Chakravarthi N. V., Director – BabyCare at Himalaya Wellness, said the brand’s goal is to make baby care simpler and less stressful by helping parents see how informed, small choices can meaningfully impact their baby’s skin health. He noted that maintaining natural skin pH is one such choice parents should prioritise, and that the campaign aims to build awareness around pH-balanced skincare while reinforcing Himalaya’s promise of gentle, safe and effective care.

To reach audiences across the country, the campaign has been rolled out in ten languages – Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Odia and Assamese – spanning digital and social media channels.
