CaratLane has unveiled a new campaign for its Kaashika collection, and this time, the brand is letting a city tell the story.
Shot across the ghats, temples, and streets of Banaras, the film uses the track ‘Tum Tak’ to capture the emotional pulse of Kashi – a city where spirituality and daily life exist side by side. It’s a fitting soundtrack for a collection built entirely around the city’s architecture and heritage.
The Kaashika line translates that inspiration into design: temple motifs reimagined in 14KT gold and natural diamonds, each piece carrying a quiet nod to the sacred geometry and craftsmanship Banaras is known for. Rather than simply naming the collection after the city, CaratLane has built a visual and emotional world around it – one where jewellery becomes an extension of place and culture.
The campaign also signals a sharper business focus, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key market for the brand going forward.
Saumen Bhaumik, Managing Director at CaratLane, summed it up simply: great design starts with culture, and storytelling brings it to life. Pairing Kashi’s unmistakable soul with the emotion of ‘Tum Tak’ wasn’t just a creative choice – it was the natural way to celebrate the city’s heritage in a way that feels rooted and contemporary.
With Kaashika, CaratLane isn’t just launching a collection – it’s making a case for jewellery as cultural storytelling, one city at a time.
