Adobe has launched a new plugin for ChatGPT that integrates more than 70 of its creative and productivity tools into the AI platform, allowing users to create, edit and manage images, videos, designs, PDFs and other content through natural language prompts without switching applications.
Available globally on ChatGPT web and mobile from today, the plugin works across ChatGPT Work and Codex. It combines capabilities from Adobe Express, Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Stock and other Adobe applications into a single interface designed to support end-to-end creative and document workflows.
The announcement expands Adobe’s partnership with OpenAI and follows the company’s earlier rollout of individual Adobe applications on ChatGPT. With the unified plugin, users can generate campaign creatives, repurpose long-form videos into platform-specific formats such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, design marketing assets, and convert datasets into professionally formatted PDFs without leaving the conversation.
The plugin streamlines production workflows for businesses, marketers and creative professionals by automatically selecting the appropriate Adobe tools based on a user’s prompt. Users can begin using a broad set of capabilities as guests, while Adobe account holders gain access to generative AI features, Creative Cloud file integration and the ability to save work across sessions.
Adobe said the launch builds on its broader strategy of making creative tools available across leading AI assistants, having already expanded integrations with ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot, with Slack and Gemini support planned next – positioning ChatGPT as another gateway into Adobe’s creative ecosystem.
