MyFitness Puts Peanut Butter to the Glucose Test With Rohan Sehgal

MyFitness, the peanut butter brand from BRND.ME, has collaborated with content creator Rohan Sehgal for a digital video exploring food pairing as part of his ‘Feeding Mom’ series.

The video features Sehgal and his sister Aparna comparing glucose response to eating an apple alone versus pairing it with MyFitness Zero Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter. In the experiment, Sehgal pairs apple slices with around two tablespoons of the peanut butter, with a glucose monitor recording a 22 mg/dL rise – lower than the 31 mg/dL rise recorded when Aparna had eaten an apple on its own earlier. Aparna also notes that the combination kept her feeling fuller for longer.

The video uses this experiment and the siblings’ conversation to explore how food pairing can influence satiety and glucose response.

MyFitness Zero Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter contains 98% roasted peanuts and 28g of protein per 100g, with zero added sugar, according to the brand.

The collaboration is part of BRND.ME’s broader creator-led content push around everyday food consumption.
