Swiggy has stepped up its food safety support by introducing a dedicated 24×7 helpline and a new ‘Food Safety’ channel within its app. The move gives customers a more direct way to flag food safety concerns linked to their orders.
Customers can call 7948231850 to register complaints with Swiggy’s customer care team. Alternatively, concerns can be raised through the ‘Food Safety’ option under the Help section of the app. Users can share details of the issue, upload photographs and receive a ticket number to track their complaint.
For complaints made through the helpline, Swiggy will send a link to the customer’s registered mobile number, allowing them to provide additional information and supporting images.
All complaints submitted through these channels will be reviewed on priority by Swiggy’s Food Safety Assurance Team, which will take appropriate action based on the concern.
Sidharth Bhakoo, Chief Business Officer, Swiggy Food Marketplace, said the additional touchpoints will help the company identify and address gaps while continuing to work with restaurant partners on food safety.
Beyond resolving individual complaints, Swiggy says the initiative will help identify recurring issues and patterns, enabling stronger preventive measures across its restaurant network. The platform also continues to educate partners on hygiene, ingredient quality and accurate menu descriptions.
