Pocket FM has launched a global campaign for Sherpa by Pocket FM, its AI-powered fiction-writing platform, rolling out across San Francisco, Bengaluru and Mumbai. The campaign carries a single idea across multiple formats: AI should help writers build entire fictional worlds, not just generate sentences.
Sherpa is a self-evolving agent harness built on custom-trained proprietary models, combining hierarchical story planning, long-term narrative memory and prose generation to help creators build immersive stories spanning hundreds of episodes. It’s designed to track characters, relationships and storylines as they evolve, rather than treating each episode in isolation. The tool has already driven a 75x increase in Pocket FM’s annualised content production, crossing 2.5 million hours, alongside a 10x rise in blockbuster titles.
At the centre of the campaign is a satirical film featuring Pocket FM co-founder Rohan Nayak and actor Chris Diamantopoulos, who plays a tech investor convinced Sherpa will make him the world’s first “deserving trillionaire.” The film spoofs typical tech launches while introducing Sherpa’s core promise: turning a single idea into a sustainable, long-form story.
Beyond the film, the campaign took to the skies above San Francisco with a Pocket FM branded aircraft, while in India, a Bengaluru and Mumbai outdoor push turned a billboard into a snow-covered mountain with climbers, alongside the line “Writing stories is no more a climb.” Select newspaper front pages were also left blank, inviting readers to start writing.
Vineet Singh, Global Head of Brand Marketing at Pocket FM, said the launch reflects the brand’s ambition to make powerful storytelling tools accessible to creators worldwide.
