Reliance Foundation’s Asian Games Campaign Puts The Spotlight On “First Opportunities”

Reliance Foundation has launched its Asian Games 2026 campaign, titled ‘Taqdeer Badalna Bachchon Ka Khel Hai’, conceptualised by TBWA\Lintas, part of Omnicom Advertising India. Built around the belief that every child deserves a chance, the campaign argues that before the medals and podiums, every champion starts somewhere ordinary.

The core idea: India has no shortage of sporting talent – it exists across school playgrounds, neighbourhood grounds, streets and communities – but talent alone isn’t enough without access to coaching, infrastructure and encouragement. The campaign frames belief as something that typically arrives after success, arguing that opportunity has to come first: no child becomes a champion without someone letting them play, train, fail, learn and dream.

The messaging ties into Reliance Foundation’s Sports for Development initiatives, which build pathways from grassroots participation and talent identification through to coaching, infrastructure and high-performance opportunities, reflecting Nita M. Ambani’s vision for a stronger domestic sporting ecosystem. With the Asian Games underway, the campaign uses athletes’ journeys as proof that today’s competitors were once kids who needed someone to open a door – shifting focus from victory to the first opportunity, first coach and first believer behind it.

Sarvesh Raikar, President – Creative at TBWA\Lintas, said the athletes’ stories prove India can produce world-class talent from anywhere, adding that unlocking it requires access – and that the campaign aims to reposition sport as an investment in the country’s children, not just a game.
