BGMI Tells Players to Skip the Overthinking With ‘Soch Kum, Khel Maximum’

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has launched its latest campaign, “Soch Kum, Khel Maximum,” encouraging people to stop worrying about whether they are good enough to play and simply jump in. Created with 22feet, part of Omnicom Advertising India, the campaign takes a cheeky look at life’s questionable decisions before arriving at one that needs no second thought: playing BGMI.

The idea rests on a simple observation: people often hesitate to try something for fear of not getting it right, including before tapping the BGMI app icon. Four humorous films turn this behaviour around by showing familiar situations that genuinely deserve a second thought. Set against these, the ease of playing BGMI stands out, with no skill level acting as a barrier. Players can jump into a quick session or choose to play solo or with a squad, at their own pace. The films will lead into a larger digital campaign tapping into real-time conversations and viral moments, and will be amplified across the brand’s Instagram platforms.

Srinjoy Das, Director, BGMI Product Management and Marketing, Krafton India, said the game’s modes and maps this year are easy to pick up without needing time to master them. It is casual, instant and does not always need a squad or a schedule, he said.

Shyam Nair, Executive Creative Director, 22feet, said no one needs a gaming resume to join friends for a game. The campaign, he added, places hesitation where it belongs: in life’s questionable decisions, not in playing BGMI.
