The collaboration brings together the whisky brand’s heritage and the designer’s signature aesthetic through gold-toned Indian motifs across the packaging and accompanying glass.
Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve has collaborated with fashion designer Manish Malhotra to introduce a limited-edition festive pack, adding a design-led offering to the brand’s seasonal gifting portfolio.
The packaging combines Black Dog’s established identity with Malhotra’s distinctive design sensibility, drawing inspiration from Indian festive aesthetics. A gold-on-gold palette forms the foundation of the design, complemented by floral, botanical and ornamental motifs that lend the pack a celebratory character.
The artwork extends beyond the outer monocarton to the accompanying glass, with the floral elements flowing across both components to create a cohesive visual experience. The limited-edition pack will be available during the festive season, with a focus on gifting, entertaining and celebrations.
Malhotra said the partnership reflects his longstanding association with occasions that bring people together, from bridal and festive couture to personal celebrations. He also highlighted the shared emphasis on heritage, craftsmanship and attention to detail that informed the collaboration.
Varun Koorichh, vice president of marketing for International Whiskies at Diageo India, said the festive season aligns with Black Dog’s focus on bringing people together and creating memorable moments. He added that Malhotra’s design approach offered an opportunity to extend the brand’s appeal beyond the whisky itself.
The collaboration positions packaging as a key part of the festive experience, using design to give Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve a distinct seasonal identity. By combining the brand’s heritage with Malhotra’s visual language, the limited edition aims to strengthen its gifting proposition during the celebrations.
