The broadcaster is reviving popular franchises and introducing new formats across television and Zee5, spanning celebrity shows, cooking, gaming and comedy.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises is strengthening its non-fiction portfolio across seven languages, combining established audience favourites with fresh formats designed to drive engagement across television and digital platforms.

The broadcaster’s existing line-up includes popular properties such as Dance India Dance, Dadagiri, Home Minister and Chhoriyan Chali Gaon. It has also recently launched Sa Re Ga Ma Pa across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Malayalam markets.

The upcoming slate features celebrity-led programmes such as Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai 2.0, hosted by R Madhavan, alongside The Mega Multiplex in Telugu and Legends in Tamil.

Cookery programming will include Varewa in Telugu, Samaiyal Express in Tamil, Kitchen Kalakar in Marathi and Oogarane Dabbi in Kannada. The game-show category will see Lakhpati Didiya on Zee Anmol and Jodi No. 1 on Zee Keralam. Meanwhile, the comedy line-up includes Mirakkel on Zee Bangla and a new season of Chala Hawa Yeu Dya on Zee Marathi.

Raghavendra Hunsur, chief content officer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises, said the company aims to build on its legacy of homegrown non-fiction formats by reimagining popular franchises and expanding regional concepts to wider audiences.

He highlighted an integrated strategy spanning television and Zee5, with digital viewing windows offering audiences additional ways to engage with the content.

The expansion covers Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and Bangla, as Zee looks to develop recurring intellectual properties that encourage participation and create lasting audience connections across screens.
