On a mission to make personal care more planet-friendly, Bombay Shaving Company has unveiled its first eco-friendly razor, the Eco Sensi 3, as part of a nationwide push towards sustainable grooming. The launch was highlighted during an 18-hour online store event on April 18, available exclusively on the brand’s website.
The Eco Sensi 3 razor is designed with the environment in mind. It features a reusable handle made from coconut shell and rice husk, and comes with a 3-blade cartridge built for regular use. Priced at INR 179, the launch pack includes one handle and two cartridges. It’s currently available online and will soon be rolled out to retail stores across India.
To amplify the message, Bombay Shaving Company released a thought-provoking short film titled “Where Do All the Razors Go?” featuring its founder and CEO Shantanu Deshpande. The video highlights the environmental impact of disposable razors and urges consumers to adopt more responsible grooming habits.
Deepak Gupta, co-founder and COO, shared, “Eco Sensi 3 is our response to growing demand for purpose-driven products. It delivers high performance while being gentle on the skin and the planet. We’re proud that it’s made in India and marks a new chapter in conscious grooming.”
The campaign aligns with the brand’s long-term sustainability vision, aiming to create grooming solutions that are “Sensi on Skin and Sensi on the Planet”, setting a new benchmark for environmentally aware personal care in India.
