HP India Spotlights Homegrown Innovators in Diwali Campaign ‘Lights of Change’

HP India has launched its Diwali campaign, ‘Lights of Change’, celebrating the ideas that are lighting the way for a brighter India. The campaign spotlights Indian innovations that solve everyday challenges, create new opportunities and make a difference in people’s lives. Its hero film features six stories of innovation that create impact at both individual and community levels.

The stories show how technology-led Indian ingenuity is making a difference, from finding new uses for agricultural waste and helping cities prepare for urban flooding to tackling pollution in rivers and water bodies. Others focus on everyday lives: ‘Annie’, a self-learning Braille device that helps visually impaired children learn independently; an affordable bionic arm that offers greater independence to people with limb differences; and CareMother, which makes fetal heartbeat monitoring more accessible for expectant mothers.

Ipsita Dasgupta, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director, HP India, said India’s progress is powered by people who see possibility where others see a challenge. She added that HP has always believed in the power of technology to enable human potential, and hopes the stories inspire more people to believe in their ideas.

Beyond the films, HP has created a dedicated digital platform featuring innovation stories from across the country. It invites people to share innovations they have come across in their own communities on LinkedIn, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), encouraging more such stories to be discovered and shared.
