Akash Ambani has been appointed Managing Director of Jio Platforms Limited for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. The move comes as the company reportedly prepares to file its DRHP with SEBI for a potential IPO. Akash Ambani has been associated with Reliance Jio since 2014 and has served as Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm since 2022.
