Actor and producer Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in Agilitas Sports, the sports footwear and apparel company founded by former PUMA India executives. As part of the association, Sharma will co-develop a dedicated yoga wear line under the One8 brand, which is owned by Agilitas.
The move brings together one of India’s most recognised celebrity couples in a shared business venture. Sharma’s husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, is already an investor in Agilitas, having acquired a minority stake last year as a co-investor and business partner. That deal also included Agilitas’ acquisition of the One8 sportswear brand.
Abhishek Ganguly, co-founder and CEO of Agilitas, confirmed the development, stating that Sharma is partnering with the company both as a capital investor and as a co-creator of the yoga wear category. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The partnership is a natural extension of Sharma’s well-documented interest in yoga and wellness, positioning her as a credible voice in the athleisure and yoga wear space. For Agilitas, the association adds both strategic depth and strong consumer-facing appeal to the One8 brand’s expanding portfolio.
Agilitas operates across the sports footwear and apparel segment, retailing products through its own brands and strategic partnerships. With Kohli anchoring the broader sportswear vision and Sharma leading the yoga vertical, the brand is positioning itself to capture a wider, more diverse fitness audience across India.
