Asian Footwears has struck a strategic partnership with Indian Railways, securing naming rights for Platforms 14, 15, and 16 at New Delhi Railway Station. Brand ambassador and former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will front the visibility push, with his imagery featured prominently across the newly named ‘Asian Footwears Platform 14′, ’15’, and ’16’.
The long-term deal taps into one of India’s busiest transit hubs, which sees a daily footfall of over 10 lakh passengers – offering the brand high-impact, high-scale visibility as part of its broader consumer outreach strategy.
Rajinder Jindal, Chairman, Asian Footwears, called the partnership a defining moment for the brand, noting that New Delhi Railway Station is more than a transit point – it’s a destination connecting millions of Indians nationwide. He drew a parallel between Dhoni’s stature as “an emotion” for the brand and how Asian Footwears aims to accompany consumers through everyday journeys, much like the station does for commuters.
Branding will span panels, billboards, vinyl wrapping, backlit displays, and other experiential touchpoints across the three platforms, with plans for deeper integration into passengers’ daily routines.
The move positions Asian Footwears at the intersection of urban mobility and mass consumer engagement, giving it a platform (literally) to connect with a diverse audience spanning metro cities, Tier 2 towns, and rural India – a reach few other advertising formats can match at this scale.
