Baby Sebamed’s New Film Honours the Quiet Caregivers Behind Every New Mother’s Confidence

Parenthood is often called instinctive, but for many first-time mothers, it’s just as much a journey of learning, reassurance and support. Baby Sebamed’s latest campaign pays tribute to the caregivers who quietly help new mothers find their footing during one of life’s most transformative phases.

Conceptualised by Leo and directed by Dhara Kanani, the film spotlights the unique bond that forms between caregivers and the families they support. Beyond helping with daily routines, these caregivers often become trusted guides, sharing their experience, easing anxieties, and helping new mothers build the confidence to care for their babies. From teaching a mother how to massage her baby to guiding her through everyday moments of infant care, their support frequently extends far beyond their defined role.

At its core, the film honours these pillars of strength who step into a family’s life exactly when needed, leaving behind memories that last well beyond their time there. It closes on a simple, resonant note: “Thank you to the people who instill confidence in new mothers.”

Speaking on the campaign, Pranay Rao, Vice President – Marketing, Sebamed, said it takes a village to raise a child, and this campaign was Sebamed’s way of recognising the caregivers who become teachers, cheerleaders and trusted companions to new parents, often while being away from their own families. He noted that mothers repeatedly speak about how vital these caregivers are to their daily lives, and that it’s time brands moved past celebrating reel heroes to instead honour the real ones, mothers and the caregivers who stand beside them.
