Cheil X, part of the Cheil SWA group, has appointed Souvik Datta as National Creative Director to strengthen its creative leadership. Datta, who joins from McCann Worldgroup, brings over 23 years of experience with iconic brands like Maggi, Hero, Domino’s, and Asian Paints. At Cheil X, he will co-lead creative alongside Amit Nandwani and report to Vikash Chemjong, CCO, Cheil SWA Group. The agency also announced an expanded role for Rajit Gupta to lead brand experience and design capabilities across India, marking a bold step in Cheil X’s evolution as a creativity-driven, business-focused agency.
