Dabur India’s air freshener brand Odonil has entered the car fragrance segment with the launch of Odonil Car Fragrance, expanding beyond its household roots into personal vehicle spaces.
The range comes in two variants – Ocean Breeze and Ruby Mist – and offers fragrance intensity control along with up to 45 days of freshness. It also features anti-smoke technology, designed to tackle smoke-related odours inside cars.
Vaibhav Rathi, Head of Marketing, Home Care, Dabur India, said Odonil has been part of Indian households for over five decades, and as the car increasingly becomes an extension of personal space, it demands the same sensory comfort as home. He added that the new range combines fine-perfumery-inspired fragrances with functional innovations like anti-smoke technology and intensity control to redefine in-car freshness.
According to the company, the fragrances draw inspiration from coastal and alpine landscapes – Ocean Breeze built around aquatic notes, while Ruby Mist blends citrus, floral, amber and woody accords.
Priced at Rs 99 for an 8 ml unit, the product is available in a single pack as well as a value pack containing two Ocean Breeze units and one Ruby Mist unit. It will be sold across e-commerce, quick-commerce, modern trade and retail outlets nationwide.
With this launch, Odonil is positioning itself to compete in the fast-growing car care and personal fragrance space, leveraging its legacy brand trust to make inroads into a category traditionally dominated by dedicated auto-care players.
