Delhivery adds PB Fintech’s Yashish Dahiya and IIM-B’s Dr. Padmini Srinivasan to its board-both bring deep expertise in digital business, finance, and governance.
Delhivery has appointed Yashish Dahiya, Chairperson and CEO of PB Fintech, and Dr. Padmini Srinivasan, senior faculty at IIM Bangalore, as Non-Executive Independent Directors to its board.
Dahiya is best known as the co-founder of Policybazaar, launched in 2008, which has grown into one of India’s largest digital insurance platforms-managing over $2 billion in annual premiums and serving millions monthly. Prior to his entrepreneurial success, he held senior roles at ebookers.com, a Nasdaq-listed European travel platform, and worked as a consultant at Bain & Company in London. His academic credentials include degrees from IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad, and INSEAD.
Dr. Srinivasan serves as Chairperson of the Centre for Corporate Governance and Sustainability at IIM Bangalore, where she teaches and conducts research in financial reporting, ethics, and governance. A chartered accountant and company secretary, she also holds a PhD from the National Law School of India University. She currently sits on the board of BSE Ltd. and has contributed to several regulatory committees, including ICAI’s Accounting and Auditing Boards and the IIRC Academic Network.
Sahil Barua, MD & CEO of Delhivery, welcomed the appointments, saying, “Dr. Srinivasan’s academic expertise in governance and financial reporting will ensure we maintain high governance standards. Yashish’s experience in building a leading consumer internet brand will bring a founder’s lens to our strategic and operational decisions.”
These additions are part of Delhivery’s planned board renewal initiative. Over the next year, several long-serving board members will step down to allow for a smooth transition. As part of this, Srivatsan Rajan-Delhivery’s longest-serving independent director since 2015-will step down effective September 30, 2025.
