The European T20 Premier League (ETPL) has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as its Digital Transformation Partner in a multi-year agreement, ahead of the league’s inaugural season running from August 26 to September 20, 2026. Under the partnership, TCS and ETPL will develop an AI-powered digital ecosystem spanning fan engagement, commercial partnerships, player development and grassroots cricket, with TCS supporting ticketing, live match experiences, personalised content and digital platforms. The league’s first season will feature six city-based franchises representing Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands, with matches held in Voorburg, Netherlands, and Malahide, Ireland.
Saurav Banerjee, Co-founder, ETPL, said the league was built with the ambition of becoming a modern, globally relevant sporting property from the outset, with technology as a defining pillar, calling TCS an ideal partner for building the future of European cricket. Vinay Singhvi, Head of UK and Ireland, TCS, added that cricket is entering a new era of fan engagement shaped by technology, offering a platform for TCS’s AI-powered solutions.
Girish Ramachandran, President, TCS Growth Markets, called the tie-up a milestone in TCS’s expanding sports sector focus, while Priyanka Kaul, Co-founder, ETPL, said technology is central to modern sports marketing, positioning TCS as the right partner to help build a digital-first, future-ready cricket property in Europe.
