DOMS, the stationery and art materials brand, has launched “Every Year Counts,” a new campaign spotlighting the small, everyday rituals that quietly shape a child’s growth – timed to coincide with the start of the new academic year.
Rather than celebrating one milestone moment, the campaign turns the spotlight on recurring routines parents and educators repeat each year – covering textbooks, labelling notebooks, sharpening pencils, packing school bags – framing them as the real building blocks of a child’s confidence and future.
Anchored by the line “You spend years getting them ready, until one day they are,” the brand film follows a child’s journey through formative years of learning, creativity and perseverance, reinforcing DOMS’ belief that meaningful growth comes from years of consistent care, not a single defining moment.
Santosh Raveshia, MD, DOMS Industries, called the film a tribute to parents and educators who invest quietly in these years, adding that DOMS sees itself as a small but meaningful part of that journey.
Anupama Ramaswamy, MD & CCO, Havas Creative India, said the campaign captures how ordinary routines only reveal their significance in hindsight, celebrating everything that shapes a child long before milestones arrive.
Saumitra Prasad, CMO, DOMS, added that the film reflects the brand’s philosophy that ambition is built well before achievement – through everyday acts of encouragement – and aims to honour the often-unnoticed role parents play in nurturing children’s aspirations.
