FUJIFILM India has appointed actress Rashmika Mandanna as brand ambassador for its Imaging Solutions business, covering Electronic Imaging, instax and Photo Imaging. She will feature across the company’s imaging portfolio in India, which includes digital cameras, instax instant cameras, smartphone printers, QuickSnap, binoculars and photo printing solutions.
Mandanna is also an instax user. The company says the partnership aims to connect its imaging products with younger audiences, as photography continues to span digital content creation as well as physical prints. Speaking on the association, Mandanna said photographs let people hold on to moments and feelings long after they have passed. As an instax user herself, she enjoys seeing a photograph come alive in her hands and sharing it with someone, which makes the partnership feel natural.
Koji Wada, managing director of FUJIFILM India, said Mandanna’s warmth, positivity and ability to connect with audiences across the country align with the Group’s purpose of “Giving our world more smiles”. He added that the association is meant to inspire a new generation to discover the joy of photography while strengthening the connection Fujifilm has built with consumers in India. Arun Babu, associate director, Imaging Solutions Division at FUJIFILM India, said the portfolio goes beyond cameras, bringing the “click to print” journey together across its ecosystem, and that her popularity across generations makes the partnership particularly meaningful.
The association follows Fujifilm India’s consumer-facing initiatives, including the Fujifilm Spectrum tour, X-Space and House of Photography in Mumbai, which together showcase its imaging products and experiences.
