Mankind Pharma has unveiled a new campaign for its Ayurvedic antacid brand Gas-O-Fast featuring veteran actor Rakesh Bedi as the brand’s latest face. The campaign uses humour and relatable food habits to position the brand as a quick solution for post-meal discomfort.

Built around the insight that Indians rarely hold back when it comes to enjoying food, the campaign introduces the line “Khana banane ka nahi, pachane ka solution”. Instead of discouraging indulgence, the ad embraces India’s food-loving culture and presents Gas-O-Fast as a dependable remedy for acidity and digestive discomfort that often follows heavy meals.

The campaign film leans heavily on Rakesh Bedi’s signature comic timing and familiar on-screen presence, turning everyday digestive troubles into light-hearted and relatable moments. Through exaggerated humour and culturally rooted storytelling, the brand aims to make conversations around digestive wellness more approachable for family audiences.

At the centre of the product’s positioning is jeera (cumin), a traditional Indian ingredient widely associated with digestive relief. Gas-O-Fast combines Ayurvedic ingredients with a fizzy, fast-acting format, differentiating itself from conventional synthetic antacids in the market.

Commenting on the campaign, Joy Chatterjee said the idea was to position Gas-O-Fast not just as a remedy, but as a companion to India’s indulgent eating habits.

According to IQVIA data shared by the company, Gas-O-Fast has crossed Rs 200 crore in revenue and currently holds around 12% market share nationally, with stronger regional presence across states such as West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab.
