Campaign by Ogilvy Mumbai spotlights powerful journeys of creators including Shehnaaz Gill, Jannat Zubair, and more.
Glow & Lovely has unveiled a bold new initiative, ‘Apni Roshni Baahar La’ (Bring Out Your Inner Light), a nationwide movement aimed at empowering the next generation of women influencers in India. At the heart of this campaign is The Glow Up Academy-a unique upskilling platform designed to support aspiring women creators from across the country.
With the ambitious goal of nurturing one woman digital creator from each of India’s 19,101 PIN codes, the Academy will offer structured learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience. Its aim: to help women build personal brands, craft compelling content, and thrive in today’s creator economy.
Conceptualised by Ogilvy Mumbai, the campaign is driven by real stories of popular women creators who embody the spirit of self-expression. Featuring Shehnaaz Gill, Jannat Zubair, Nabha Natesh, Larissa D’Sa, Avneet Kaur, Shreya Priyam, and Chum Darang, the campaign film celebrates diverse journeys and voices-from urban centers to India’s smaller towns.
With a social-first launch, the campaign challenges outdated ideas of influence. It redefines an influencer not as someone who fits in, but one who stands out, owns her story, and leads with purpose.
“This is not just a brand campaign-it’s a cultural movement,” said Harman Dhillon, Executive Director, Beauty & Wellbeing, HUL. “‘Apni Roshni Baahar La’ is our commitment to supporting women to shine-authentically and unapologetically.”
Anurag Agnihotri, CCO, Ogilvy India (West), added, “Every woman carries a light that can shape culture and inspire change. This campaign is our way of saying: your light is enough-let it lead.”
