Gupshup has announced the launch of Superagent, an autonomous AI agent designed to manage and scale customer conversations across messaging and voice channels.
Positioned beyond traditional chatbots, Superagent functions as a full-stack orchestrator for customer engagement. From a single conversational interface, it can design campaigns, build and manage customer journeys, provision messaging infrastructure, process transactions, and track performance-enabling businesses to move seamlessly from intent to conversion.
The platform supports multiple channels, including WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, Truecaller, Telegram, Instagram, and voice interfaces. It operates across global languages and allows businesses to initiate and manage workflows through simple prompts-handling setup, execution, analytics, and optimisation autonomously.
According to the company, early beta users have reported up to a 90% reduction in time, effort, and cost, along with over 25% higher conversion rates. The system also adapts to different industries and geographies, customising journeys for sectors such as fintech, e-commerce, real estate, and banking.
Alongside Superagent, Gupshup has introduced Superclaw, a self-hosted, on-device version built on the Openclaw platform. Designed for enhanced data privacy and efficiency, it caters to small businesses seeking low infrastructure costs and enterprises operating in regulated environments where data sovereignty is critical.
Currently live in beta, Superagent can be accessed via web, messaging apps, and integrated into AI ecosystems like ChatGPT and Gemini, marking a step forward in autonomous, AI-led customer engagement.
