Sashidhar Jagdishan, MD & CEO of HDFC Bank, will retire on October 26, 2026, after deciding not to seek reappointment. The bank’s board has acknowledged his leadership and contribution, including his role in the HDFC-HDFC Bank merger, and will fast-track the process of appointing his successor.
