JioStar’s Entertainment business has rolled out #HarGharMeinJashn, a festive playbook built on consumer data and spanning television, digital, and commerce-led advertising.
The push is backed by the JioStar Festive Sentiment Survey 2026, which projects average festive transaction sizes climbing 46%, from ₹16,500 to ₹24,020. The data also shows 68% of shoppers start planning over a month in advance, while 49% of category buyers are still weighing brand choices before deciding – reinforcing JioStar’s pitch that festive marketing needs to win consideration early, not just chase last-minute sales.
The playbook leans on JioStar’s TV network, which logged over 680 billion viewing minutes, with primetime viewership up 30% in the festive stretch and audiences reportedly spending 50% more time with its content than on UGC platforms. Mahesh Shetty, head – Entertainment Sales, TV, JioStar, said this translates into stronger search, consideration, and sales growth for brands advertising in that environment.
JioHotstar rounds out the offering, claiming 50–80% incremental reach on CTV and up to 90% on mobile over leading UGC rivals, alongside 2.2x higher add-to-cart rates among exposed audiences. Bhaskar Ramesh, head – Entertainment Sales, Digital, JioStar, framed festive attention as the season’s “most contested currency.”
The content slate anchoring the push includes Bigg Boss, Koffee With Karan, Roadies, and film premieres like Dhurandhar and Drishyam 3, alongside performance data from JioStar’s Megablast and Launchpad ad properties – positioning the network across every stage of the festive purchase journey.
