LAVA, the Indian smartphone brand, is expanding into the UK with the launch of the AGNI 4N, backed by a campaign from SW Network that brings together some of the UK’s biggest creator voices to introduce an Indian brand to a global audience.
The campaign centres on a film set inside a fictional “SAM Survivors Support Group,” where a group of young people swap exaggerated, relatable stories about smartphones that have tested their patience – before discovering the LAVA AGNI 4N and deciding it’s time to move on. The film features UK creators Deji Olatunji, Harry Pinero, Max Khadar, Joe Weller and Cariad Ryan.
Raghav Bagai, Co-founder, SW Network, said the brief called for a human insight that could carry the product naturally, leading the team to turn everyday smartphone frustrations into an entertaining premise rather than a conventional launch film.
Puravansh Maitreya, Head Marketing, LAVA International Limited, said the campaign reflects the brand’s consumer-first, confident persona as it enters the UK, positioning the AGNI 4N as a compromise-free option in the mid-tier segment.
Shubham Chawla, Business Head, Youthbeat, said bringing together major UK creator talent helped translate the idea into a world that felt distinctly British while staying universal, reflecting the scale of ambition behind the brand’s global push.
The film was produced by Banana in a Suit (BIAS Studios), shot in London with a UK cast to ground the support group in an authentic, recognisable setting.
The campaign is being amplified across the UK through influencer videos, OOH and social media.
