Libas Steps Beyond Apparel with a Jewellery Debut

Libas has entered the jewellery category, extending its business beyond apparel as it builds a larger presence across India’s fashion and lifestyle market. The move signals an effort to widen the brand’s portfolio and capture a bigger share of consumer spending around fashion and occasions.

The new portfolio features over 100 styles priced between ₹399 and ₹1,299, spanning jewellery sets, mangalsutras, necklaces and chains, bangles and earrings. Aimed at festive and wedding shoppers, the range includes gold-plated, silver-plated and oxidised pieces, with an anti-tarnish finish positioned as a key selling point.

The collection is live on Libas’ website, app and leading marketplaces, with a rollout across its exclusive brand outlets to follow. This phased approach lets the brand lean on its digital reach while building the category across its growing physical retail footprint. Jewellery plays a role in festive and wedding dressing, giving Libas a chance to serve more consumer needs while drawing on its understanding of the Indian shopper.

The launch follows the brand’s expansion into fragrances, underlining its evolution into a broader fashion business with multiple categories. Sidhant Keshwani, Founder and CEO of Libas, called jewellery a natural progression of the brand’s vision, adding that the ambition is to build a larger fashion business. He said the focus will remain on creating strong consumer relevance while building businesses that can scale over the long term. As it expands its digital and retail footprint, Libas is betting that new categories will drive growth and deepen its bond with consumers.
