Eureka Forbes has launched a new campaign for its Aquaguard Water Softener range, featuring actor Parul Gulati. Built around the line “Life Hard Nahi, Aapka Paani Hard Hai,” it uses everyday humour to point at an overlooked culprit behind common hair and skin troubles: hard water.
The idea comes from a familiar habit. When hair falls, skin dries or hair turns rough, most people blame stress, lifestyle or the products they use. Very few think about the water they bathe in. The campaign film plays on this through a conversation between a domestic help and a young woman discussing hair fall. As they run through the usual explanations, the film brings in hard water as another possible cause. It then introduces the Aquaguard Water Softener, highlighting its ionic transfer technology and how soft water can support healthier hair and smoother skin.
This is the first of a two-film series, with the second to follow shortly. Together, the films aim to build awareness of hard water and why it matters in daily bathing and personal care, while positioning Aquaguard Water Softeners as the fix.
Anurag Kumar, Chief Growth Officer at Eureka Forbes, said hard water is widespread, yet its link to everyday hair and skin concerns is rarely recognised. Parul Gulati, who also founded Nish Hair, said she found the idea clever because it turns a real problem into something relatable. With this campaign, Eureka Forbes wants to widen the water conversation beyond drinking water and towards the water people use every day.
