McDonald’s India Celebrates Modern Connections with New ‘Let’s Family at McD’ Campaign

As McDonald’s India marks 30 years in the country, Westlife Foodworld has unveiled a new brand campaign, ‘Let’s Family at McD’, celebrating the relationships, memories, and moments that have made the brand a part of everyday life for millions of Indians.

Conceptualised by McCann India 4, the campaign reimagines the idea of family for modern India. Moving beyond traditional definitions, it embraces friendships, colleagues, communities, and chosen circles-people who create a sense of belonging and togetherness.

At the heart of the campaign is a vibrant brand anthem penned by renowned lyricist and advertising veteran Prasoon Joshi. Through relatable, everyday moments, the anthem highlights how McDonald’s has become a backdrop for countless experiences, from after-school hangouts and first dates to office lunches, birthday celebrations, and late-night drive-thru visits.

The campaign reflects the evolving social fabric of India, where meaningful connections are often built beyond family ties. By positioning McDonald’s as a space where people come together, the brand aims to strengthen its emotional connection with both existing and new generations of consumers.

Akshay Jatia, CEO of Westlife Foodworld, said the campaign celebrates the comfort, warmth, and sense of belonging that McDonald’s has offered customers over the past three decades. He added that the brand remains committed to being an inclusive destination where people can create lasting memories.

Prasoon Joshi noted that the Indian concept of family extends beyond blood relations to include people who stand by us and make everyday moments special.

The campaign will roll out across digital platforms, social media, and in-store touchpoints, supported by a digital-first media strategy designed to maximise consumer engagement.
