McDonald’s India celebrates Mother’s Day with campaign encouraging moms to take a break

McDonald’s India – North and East has rolled out a heartfelt Mother’s Day campaign titled Every mother deserves a break, recognising the everyday efforts mothers put into managing their homes and families. Through an emotional digital film, the brand highlights the often-overlooked reality of motherhood and encourages families to give mothers some well-earned personal time.

The campaign is built around the insight that while motherhood is deeply rewarding, it also comes with constant responsibilities that rarely pause. The film portrays a family trying to manage household tasks in the mother’s absence, only to realise how much she quietly handles every day to keep everything running smoothly.

While the family struggles to cope with the chaos at home, the mother is shown enjoying a peaceful break at McDonald’s. She spends time relaxing with a Strawberry Matcha and a croissant before eventually inviting her family to join her, turning the moment into a warm family outing.

Alongside the campaign, McDonald’s India – North and East has also introduced a limited-period Mom’s Buddy Meal for Mother’s Day celebrations. Priced at Rs 399, the offering includes a Buddy Meal featuring McAloo Tikki or Veg Surprise burgers, two Cokes, medium fries, a Mini Waffle Cone, and a commemorative tote bag.

The Mother’s Day offer will be available from May 8 to May 10 across McDonald’s outlets in North and East India. Through the campaign, the brand aims to celebrate mothers not just with appreciation, but by encouraging families to give them the meaningful break they truly deserve.
