Muthoot Fincorp Locks In BCCI Title Sponsorship Through 2028

Muthoot Fincorp has secured the title sponsorship rights for Indian cricket for the next two years, according to a Times of India report, giving the Kochi-based group top billing across all international and domestic matches played in India until March 31, 2028.

The agreement is expected to cover around 35 home internationals – 10 Tests, 12 ODIs and 13 T20Is – over the two-year period, beginning with India’s three-match ODI series against the West Indies. The deal places Muthoot Fincorp alongside Campa, SBI Life and ChatGPT in India’s bilateral cricket sponsorship line-up, a mix spanning finance, FMCG and tech.

The win comes right as India enters a packed home season, with the West Indies, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe all touring across formats in the months ahead. It also ties Muthoot Fincorp’s branding to the BCCI’s new commercial cycle, which runs through March 2028 and covers the board’s full slate of home bilateral commitments.

For Muthoot Fincorp, the deal marks a major scale-up in its cricket association – moving from isolated series backing to sustained, title-level visibility across nearly three dozen internationals over two years. That kind of long-runway presence stands in sharp contrast to one-off series sponsorships, giving the NBFC consistent brand recall through India’s busiest cricketing stretch, right as the BCCI’s commercial ecosystem gears up for an extended, high-frequency home calendar running into 2028.
