Nike is preparing to relaunch its online operations in India with beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa as its new local partner, effective February 2026. The move marks a significant step in strengthening Nike’s digital-first strategy in the Indian market, with a clear focus on improving customer experience, delivery speed, and service efficiency.
As part of the transition, Nike will briefly pause access to Nike.com and the Nike App for a few hours on January 30 to implement system updates. Once the relaunch is complete, Indian consumers can expect a revamped shopping experience, including faster deliveries, simplified returns, and a more curated product assortment.
Under the new setup, all orders will come with free shipping, along with free exchanges on the same purchased product. Delivery timelines will also be significantly improved, with two-day delivery promised in metro cities and up to four days for other regions across India. The updated online store will continue to feature Nike’s core range of sports footwear, performance apparel, and India-focused collections.
However, the overhaul also brings some changes. Nike has confirmed that Nike By You customization and SNKRS Web will no longer be available in India. In addition, Nike Member logins on Nike.com and the Nike App will cease to function after the transition. Users will still be able to access the Nike Training Club and Nike Running Club apps, as their existing login credentials will remain valid.
Nike also announced that it is updating its Terms of Use, Terms of Sale, and Privacy Policy to reflect the new operating structure. These revised policies will be available once the relaunch goes live.
With Nykaa managing local digital operations, Nike aims to deliver a smoother, faster, and more localized online shopping experience tailored to Indian consumers.
