Prime Video has brought Gujarati streaming platform JOJO onto its add-on subscriptions marketplace in India, deepening its regional content push. Prime members can subscribe to JOJO at an introductory price of Rs 299 for the first year, renewing thereafter at Rs 499 annually.
JOJO’s library includes Gujarati films such as Misri, Maharani, Jalso, Fakt Purusho Maate, 3 Ekka, Dear Father and Reva, alongside originals like Love Station, Medal, Gadbad Gotalo, Har Ghadi Mauj and Rebound. Subscribers also get access to nataks, comedy specials, celebrity-led shows and other cultural programming.
With JOJO on board, Prime Video’s add-on marketplace now hosts over 30 streaming services spanning multiple languages and genres.
Gaurav Bhasin, Head – AVOD Business and Marketplace, India, said add-on subscriptions have become a strong channel for streaming platforms and studios to widen their reach in India, with the marketplace now offering one of the most extensive content selections in the country. He added that bringing JOJO on board makes premium Gujarati content accessible nationwide through a single, seamless Prime Video experience, and that its mix of films, originals, nataks and comedy specials is likely to resonate with audiences seeking authentic storytelling.
Dhruvin Shah, founder & CEO of JOJO, called the Prime Video tie-up a meaningful step in taking Gujarati entertainment beyond regional boundaries, noting the platform’s continued focus on creating and curating high-quality regional content through such partnerships, and expressed enthusiasm about bringing JOJO’s library to a pan-India audience via Prime Video.
