redBus has launched the Discover Bharat Sale, a nationwide campaign designed to encourage travellers to explore destinations within India during the festive and holiday travel season. Timed around the harvest festivals, the Magh Mela period, and the Republic Day long weekend, the initiative taps into heightened travel intent by positioning domestic journeys as accessible, familiar, and rewarding.

The sale offers bus tickets starting at Rs 299 per seat, along with discounts of up to 50% across buses, trains, and hotels. By bundling multiple travel modes and accommodation under one umbrella, redBus aims to simplify trip planning while appealing to value-conscious travellers during peak demand periods.

At the heart of the campaign is a regionification-led creative strategy that reflects how people across India discover and talk about travel. The communication has been divided into two distinct creative routes and is being delivered through television commercials and short-form digital films across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu markets. Distribution spans TV and digital platforms such as JioHotstar, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

The first route, Pata Karke Aao, is rooted in everyday settings like bus stands, tea stalls, hostels, and residential societies. Characters address viewers directly in regional languages, sharing small, insider details about destinations before tying the narrative to the fare-led offer. These films blend live-action performances with AI-generated animated backgrounds displayed on LED screens.

The second route, Bharat Mein Videshi, plays on visual misdirection. Each film initially resembles an international tourist destination before revealing well-known Indian locations such as Shimla, Jaisalmer, Coorg, Pondicherry, and Bodh Gaya. Designed for mobile-first consumption, the films reinforce the idea that global-style experiences can be found closer to home.

Through Discover Bharat Sale, redBus positions domestic travel as culturally rich, affordable, and deeply connected to everyday Indian contexts.
