Reliance Introduces JAMS, an AI-Powered Studio for the Future of Content Creation

Reliance Industries has unveiled JioStar GenAI Media Studio (JAMS), an AI-native platform designed to streamline and enhance content creation across the entire production lifecycle. Announced by Akash Ambani at the company’s 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM), the initiative underscores Reliance’s growing focus on artificial intelligence and next-generation media technologies.

JAMS is built as an end-to-end creative ecosystem, enabling users to move seamlessly from ideation and storytelling to image generation, audio production, video creation and final post-production workflows. The platform aims to empower a new wave of creative professionals capable of combining artistic storytelling with advanced AI tools to develop high-quality content for audiences in India and around the world.

Speaking at the AGM, Ambani said the vision behind JAMS is to cultivate a community of creators who can leverage artificial intelligence to produce world-class entertainment experiences. He noted that this creator-centric approach has helped build strong engagement and trust among the more than 500 million users of JioHotstar.

The announcement comes amid a strong financial performance from Reliance’s media and entertainment businesses. JioStar, Jio Studios and Network18 collectively reported FY26 revenues of ₹34,917 crore, EBITDA of ₹5,842 crore and net profit of ₹3,434 crore.

JioStar maintained its leadership in television entertainment with a 34.7% viewership share and a daily reach of 389 million viewers. Meanwhile, JioHotstar averaged 451 million monthly active users during FY26. The platform also achieved several streaming milestones, including a record 72.5 million concurrent viewers during India’s T20 World Cup campaign and over 700 million viewers during IPL 2026.
