Rusk Media Bags ₹100 Crore From Nazara Technologies to Power AI Push and Global Growth

Mumbai-based digital entertainment company Rusk Media has raised ₹100 crore in a pre-Series C funding round led by Nazara Technologies, a move that strengthens its position as it sets its sights on international expansion and deeper AI integration across its business.

The round also drew participation from existing and new backers, including InfoEdge Ventures, IvyCap Ventures, and an investor consortium led by Audacity VC. As part of the deal, representatives from Nazara Technologies and Audacity VC will join Rusk Media’s board, underscoring the strategic weight of the investment.

The company plans to channel the fresh capital into accelerating growth across content creation, technology development, and platform expansion, with a particular focus on scaling its slate of original intellectual properties for audiences both in India and abroad.

Leading that charge are talent-based reality franchise “I-Popstar” and dating reality show “Engaged,” both of which Rusk Media intends to adapt for new languages and international markets, opening up revenue streams beyond its home turf.

AI sits at the heart of the company’s next growth phase. Rusk Media is building proprietary AI-powered tools designed to streamline production, cut content creation costs, and speed up how quickly new content reaches audiences, while also using AI to sharpen monetisation and offer brands more scalable, entertainment-led engagement solutions.

Co-founder and CEO Mayank Yadav said the investor backing sets the company up to accelerate growth and deepen its global footprint, built on a strategy that pairs AI-enabled production with a diversified portfolio spanning entertainment, sports, and audio.
