Samsung TV Plus India has expanded its lineup to 200 streaming TV channels, adding Aashirwad TV and Thalaivar Hits through a partnership with NH Studioz.
Aashirwad TV will offer Hindi entertainment and mythological programming, including Ramayana, Shree Ganesha and Om Namah Shivaay. Thalaivar Hits, a Tamil movie channel, will feature films starring Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, including Kai Kodukkum and Thambikku Entha Ooru.
Samsung TV Plus is a subscription-free streaming service available on Samsung Smart TVs. Its Indian lineup spans entertainment, films, news, sports and regional programming.
Kunal Mehta, general manager and head of Business Development at Samsung TV Plus India, said the platform had grown from more than 50 channels to 200, reflecting its focus on diverse entertainment choices across genres.
Shreyans Hirawat, head of Film Business and Innovation at NH Studioz, said the partnership would meet viewers’ growing demand for curated content rooted in cultural and regional preferences.
Aashirwad TV will cater to families with devotional and mythological stories, while Thalaivar Hits will celebrate the legacy of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. The launches build on NH Studioz’s existing Hindi movie and music channels, expanding its FAST ecosystem for Connected TV audiences.
