Skipper Pipes Launches ‘Skipper On, Seelan Gone’ Campaign

Dentsu Creative Isobar has launched ‘Skipper On, Seelan Gone’ for Skipper Pipes, a campaign that tackles the common household problem of seepage through an unusual travel narrative. Seepage is cast as an unwelcome traveller that makes its way through different corners of a home.

The campaign film, ‘Kaun Rehta Hai Aapke Ghar? Seepage Ya Skipper?’, moves away from product-led messaging. Using humour, visual storytelling and imaginative depictions of damp patches, it follows seepage as it wanders from one part of the house to another. The message is simple: while seepage may find a way in, the right piping solutions can keep it out. The film is now live across Skipper Pipes’ digital and social media platforms.

Siddharth Bansal, Director, Skipper Limited, said homeowners often overlook what lies behind their walls, even though seepage can affect a home’s appearance, comfort and pride. GS Sainath, CBO, Skipper Pipes, added that while families spend time choosing walls and finishes, the plumbing behind them matters just as much, and the campaign aims to bring that conversation into everyday life.

Abhijat Bharadwaj, CCO, Dentsu Creative Isobar, explained that the category usually talks about pipes that last for years, but consumers only see the wall. The team chose to save the wall instead of selling the pipe, drawing on the habit of spotting shapes in damp patches and making them memorable.
