Swiggy Instamart Evolves into Instamart with New Brand Identity


Instamart, Swiggy’s quick commerce platform, has unveiled a refreshed identity, officially transitioning from Swiggy Instamart to simply Instamart. The rebrand includes a new visual identity and primary brand colour—blue, which the company says reflects reliability, speed, and trust.

Despite the name change and new visual cues, the iconic Swiggy ‘S-Pin’ remains a part of the branding. According to the company, it serves as a subtle tribute to Swiggy’s origins and continues to symbolize the commitment to delivery excellence and consumer trust.

Over the past five years, Instamart has grown rapidly, pioneering quick commerce in India. Today, it offers over 35,000 products across 120+ cities, catering to millions of users every month. Originally launched as part of Swiggy, Instamart has evolved into a standalone brand with a distinct personality and a loyal user base.

Swiggy Group CEO Sriharsha Majety has previously noted that Instamart is expected to surpass Swiggy’s core food delivery business in terms of both scale and reach.

In 2025, Instamart also launched its standalone app, complementing its presence within the Swiggy app.

Mayur Hola, Head of Brand at Swiggy, stated,

“Instamart has grown beyond grocery, tier-1 cities, and food delivery users. It now holds a unique place in people’s daily lives. This rebrand is not just cosmetic-it’s a declaration of independence, backed by the trust of Swiggy.”

The new identity will roll out gradually across the app UI, packaging, delivery bags, communications, and marketing campaigns in the coming weeks.
