The Womb Takes on Wonder Cement with a Fresh Creative Vision

The Womb has been named the brand strategy and creative agency on record for Wonder Cement, marking the beginning of a high-profile partnership that made its debut during IPL 2026.

The agency’s first campaign for the brand features Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and has been directed by Amit Sharma of Chrome Pictures. Departing from the category’s conventional approach of strength demonstrations through bridges and pressure tests, the campaign leans into humour – pitting the product against a man described as “a force of nature,” with the walls holding firm as the punchline.

Kawal Shoor, co-founder of The Womb, noted the challenge of standing out in a crowded home-building category shared by paints, tiles, furniture, and realty. The campaign was built around Wonder Cement’s existing platform – Fark Nazar Aayega – with the goal of giving the young brand a vibrant, distinctive personality.

Senior creative partner Gunjan Gaba added that the strategy was rooted in contrast – letting absolute nonsense on screen make the product feel quietly, reassuringly solid.

Ranbir Kapoor described the brief as one of the more creatively demanding he has encountered, playing both chaos and confidence within the same campaign. Director Amit Sharma echoed this, noting that the real challenge was making strength entertaining without ever letting the product become the obvious hero of the scene.

The mandate covers integrated creative strategy and communication across platforms, with more work expected to follow from the partnership.
