Affordable food delivery app Toing is giving Friendship Day a gamified twist with its four-day in-app “Pizza Squad Challenge,” live from July 30 to August 2, 2026. The idea: food tastes better with your squad, so Toing built an interactive way to prove it.
Here’s how it works – users complete a virtual 12-slice pizza by inviting friends via a shareable link. Every accepted invite unlocks a slice and instantly earns both users ₹5 in Free Cash. As squads hit milestones along the way, they unlock bonus rewards, stacking up to ₹100 in total Free Cash by the time the pizza is complete.
Backing the challenge is “Squad Steals,” a weekend-long deals bonanza running August 1–2 across all Toing cities, with prices starting at ₹29 on pizzas, burgers, and rolls – built for the low-stakes, high-frequency hangouts squads actually have, from roommates ordering in on a Saturday night to college groups catching up over the weekend.
With this campaign, Toing is speaking directly to Gen Z and Millennial “squad culture” – the idea that friendship isn’t just big gestures, but the small, recurring moments spent together. Whether it’s building a virtual pizza or planning a weekend feast, Toing is making sure every squad has a reason to celebrate.
Between the gamified challenge and the steep deals, Toing is positioning itself not just as a delivery app, but as the go-to plug for how friend groups actually hang out this Friendship Day.
