Honda Motor Co. has appointed Toshiyuki Yanagisawa as the new President & CEO of Honda Cars India, effective October 1, 2026. Currently leading Honda’s India Strategic Development Office and Honda Digital Innovation India, Yanagisawa will oversee both HCIL and HDII, succeeding Takashi Nakajima, who will transition to the regional headquarters of Asian Honda Motor Co. after completing his tenure in India.
