Wipro Consumer Care Enters Premium Skincare With Dermatouch Acquisition

Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has acquired DERMATOUCH, a fast-growing, science-backed premium skincare brand, marking its entry into India’s premium skincare segment. This is Wipro Consumer Care’s 18th acquisition globally and its third in the past month.

Founded by Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani, DERMATOUCH is a concern-based skincare brand addressing issues like pigmentation, acne, brightening and sun protection, with a portfolio spanning face washes, serums, creams and sunscreens. The brand posted FY26 revenue of Rs 131 crore, up 114% over FY25. Wipro will acquire a 60% stake at an enterprise value of Rs 387.5 crore, with the remaining 40% to be acquired over three years; the founders and current management will continue running the business.

Kumar Chander, CEO, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, called it the company’s first foray into digital-first brands with proven offline potential, adding that Dermatouch’s innovation will now be paired with Wipro’s scale.

Nagpal and Purswani said Wipro’s distribution network and R&D capabilities would help take Dermatouch global, while Sumit Keshan, Head of M&A, said the deal strengthens Wipro’s play in high-growth personal care segments.

The move follows Wipro’s recent acquisitions of Good Home and Eva from TTK Healthcare, and S brands in the Philippines.
